Car Recovery Anywhere in the UK
Not every recovery is a roadside emergency. Sometimes a car has been sitting on the drive for weeks, has failed its MOT, or needs to get to a specialist garage across town. Whatever the reason the car can't be driven, we'll move it, from £125, for a price agreed upfront.
Typical car recovery jobs
- Non-runners on a driveway or street: a car that won't start after standing, or has a known fault.
- MOT failures: a car that isn't road legal to drive to the garage for repairs.
- Garage to garage: moving a car to a specialist, a main dealer or a cheaper garage for a second opinion.
- Home after repairs: bringing a car back from a garage that's far away.
- Lower or wider cars: sports cars, lowered cars and cars with body kits that need careful loading.
From driveways, car parks and tight spots
Many recoveries aren't from the roadside at all. They're from a driveway with a slope, a residents' car park behind a barrier, a multi-storey or a narrow street. Tell us about access when you book: gates, height limits, ramps, or whether the car is boxed in. That way the right truck turns up the first time.
Does it roll? Do you have the keys?
A car that rolls freely and steers is quick to load. If the handbrake is stuck on, the wheels are locked, a tyre is flat or the keys are missing, it's still usually possible, but it takes extra equipment and time. Let us know, so it's included in the price rather than a surprise on the day.
Not urgent? For planned moves, send the details through our quote form or WhatsApp, with photos of the car and where it's parked if you can. We'll come back to you with a fixed price and a time that suits you.
Further away?
We also move cars long distances within the UK. See car transport. And if the car is stuck abroad, see repatriation to the UK.
Car Recovery FAQs
Can you collect a car that's been standing for months?
Yes. Tell us how long it's been standing and whether the tyres are flat or the brakes have seized, so we bring the right equipment.
Can you move a car that has failed its MOT?
Yes. A car that isn't road legal can still be transported on a recovery truck to a garage for repairs.
Do I need to be there when you collect the car?
Not always. If the keys can be left somewhere safe and the car is accessible, we can arrange collection without you. Agree the details when you book.
