Breakdown Recovery in Liverpool

We arrange recovery anywhere in Liverpool and across Merseyside, from the waterfront and city centre to the outer ring road and the motorways heading east, 24 hours a day.

From £125 · 24/7 · often with you in about 30 minutes (depends on location and traffic)

The city centre and waterfront

The Strand runs along the waterfront past the Pier Head and the Albert Dock, carrying heavy traffic between the docks, the city centre and the tunnel entrances. Further in, the centre has a mix of one-way streets, bus lanes and pedestrian areas around Lime Street and Liverpool ONE. If your car stops here, get safely onto the pavement and tell us the street and nearest landmark, so we can plan an approach that avoids blocked lanes.

The Mersey tunnels

The Queensway and Kingsway tunnels connect Liverpool with Birkenhead and Wallasey under the River Mersey. The tunnels are monitored by their own staff, who respond to breakdowns inside and move vehicles out to a safe place. If you break down in one, follow their instructions, and call us once your vehicle is out so we can arrange onward recovery.

Queens Drive and the routes out

Queens Drive forms a ring road around the inner suburbs, linking Walton, Anfield, West Derby, Wavertree and Mossley Hill. To the east, the M62 starts near Broadgreen and heads towards Warrington and Manchester, while the M57 and M58 run north towards Aintree, Kirkby and Skelmersdale. When you call from one of these roads, the nearest junction or landmark is the most useful thing to tell us.

Broken down on a busy road in Liverpool? Hazard lights on, then get yourself and your passengers onto the pavement or behind a barrier, away from traffic. Call us with the road name, nearest junction or landmark, and your direction of travel.

Across Merseyside

We cover Liverpool and the rest of Merseyside, including the Wirral, Bootle, Crosby, Huyton, St Helens and Southport, as well as Widnes and Runcorn across the river. Match days at Anfield and at Everton's stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock bring heavy traffic and road closures. If you break down nearby on a match day, let us know so we can plan the best route in.
