Bordeaux and south-west France are hugely popular with British drivers, from wine country and the Atlantic coast to the Dordogne and the road to Spain. If your car breaks down or is damaged there, we bring it back to your home or garage in the UK.
The Rocade and the routes south
The Bordeaux ring road (the Rocade) is one of the most congested roads in France, and it's also where the A10 from Paris meets the A63 to Bayonne and Spain and the A62 to Toulouse. Holiday traffic heading for the Atlantic coast, the Landes and the Spanish border passes through, and breakdowns are common in summer.
Where we collect from
We collect from Bordeaux and the Gironde, the Atlantic coast (Arcachon, Lacanau), the Dordogne and Périgord, the Charente, and on towards Bayonne and Biarritz. Cars at a garage, a campsite, a holiday home or a pound are all fine, as long as someone can give access.
Second homes: if your car is stored at a holiday home in the south-west and won't start, we can collect it and bring it back to the UK for repair. Leave the keys with a neighbour or caretaker and send us the address.
How it works
It's a long trip, around 870 km to Calais. We quote one fixed price for the whole journey, collect the car on a transporter and deliver it to your home or garage in the UK. If it's easier, we can deal with the French garage or caretaker directly in French.
