Car Repatriation from Ireland to the UK
Visiting family, a wedding or a holiday on the Wild Atlantic Way: plenty of British cars cross the Irish Sea. If yours breaks down or is damaged in the Republic of Ireland, we bring it back to your home or garage in Great Britain.
Across the Irish Sea
Cars come back from Ireland on the Irish Sea ferries, such as Dublin to Holyhead or Liverpool, and Rosslare to Fishguard or Pembroke. Which crossing makes sense depends on where the car is in Ireland and where it's going in Great Britain, and we include it in one fixed price.
Where we collect from
We collect from anywhere in the Republic of Ireland: Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford, Kerry, Donegal and the ferry ports. If your car broke down on the way to a ferry, we can collect it from near the terminal.
Tip: leave the keys and a note with the garage or the person looking after the car, take photos, and send us the exact address and a contact name. Then you can travel home as a foot passenger or by plane.
Insurance
Check whether your breakdown or car insurance covers repatriation from Ireland. If you need to arrange it yourself, we'll give you a written quote you can send to your insurer.
Ireland Repatriation FAQs
Do you collect from Northern Ireland as well?
Northern Ireland is part of the UK, so that's a standard vehicle transport job. Ask us for a quote and we'll bring the car to Great Britain.
How long does it take?
Timing depends on the location and the ferry schedules. We'll give you an expected collection and delivery time with the quote.
Can you bring back a non-runner?
Yes. Tell us that it doesn't run or roll when you ask for a quote.
Car Stuck in Ireland?
Send us where the car is, the make and model and your UK address. We’ll come back to you with a fixed price.
