Car Repatriation from Marseille to the UK
Marseille and Provence are at the far end of the Autoroute du Soleil, more than 1,000 km from Calais. If your car breaks down or is damaged in the south of France, we bring it back to your home or garage in the UK.
Heat, hills and holiday traffic
Summer heat, steep roads and long queues on the A7 make the south of France tough on cars. Overheating, clutch and gearbox problems and tyre failures are common, especially for heavily loaded cars and caravans. If repairs locally would take days, bringing the car home is often the easier option.
Where we collect from
We collect from Marseille and its suburbs, Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Arles, Toulon and the rest of Provence, as well as campsites and holiday homes in the area. Marseille has a low emission zone (ZFE) that needs a Crit’Air sticker to drive in, but that doesn't affect a collection by transporter.
Off the motorway first
On the A7, A8, A50 and A55 motorways, the official breakdown operator tows you off the motorway to their garage. Use the orange emergency phones or call 112. Once the car is at the garage, send us the address and we take it from there.
We speak French: we can arrange collection directly with the garage, campsite or caretaker. Just send us their name and number.

It's a long journey, over 1,000 km to the Channel. We'll give you an expected collection and delivery time with the quote.
Can you collect from a campsite?
Yes, as long as a transporter can get in and someone can hand over the keys. Send us the campsite name and pitch number.
Can my insurer cover this?
Many European breakdown policies include repatriation. Check with your insurer. If you need to arrange it yourself, we'll give you a written quote.
