Car Repatriation from Austria to the UK
Ski trips and summer holidays take a lot of British cars to Austria, and it's a long way back. If your car breaks down or is damaged there, we collect it and bring it to your home or garage in the UK.
Winter breakdowns in the Alps
Cold starts, flat batteries, snow chains and steep mountain roads make winter the busiest time for breakdowns in Austria, especially in Tyrol and around Salzburg. A local recovery service usually takes the car to a garage first. From there we collect it and bring it home.
Where we collect from
We collect from all over Austria: Innsbruck and the Tyrolean resorts, Salzburg and the Salzburger Land, Vienna, Graz, Linz and the routes over the Brenner Pass, as long as the car is somewhere a transporter can reach.
Good to know: Austrian motorways need a vignette, and winter tyres or chains are required in wintry conditions. If you're driving on after a breakdown in a hire car, check the rules for your route.
How it works
Send us the location, the make and model, whether it runs, and the UK delivery address. We quote one fixed price for the whole journey, collect the car on a transporter and bring it back through Germany, Belgium and France to the Channel.
